White Chicken Chili Recipe

Since we are upon the season for tending to want more comforting heartier foods, I decided to try a new recipe over the weekend for this yummy Chili. It turned out so well that I just had to share with you. I hope you will enjoy it just as much as we did!

1 medium onion finely chopped
3 Tbsp olive oil
1 (4 oz) can chopped green chilies, drained
3 Tbsp flour
2 tsp ground cumin
2 (15.8) cans Great Northern Beans
1 (14.5 oz) cans chicken broth
1.5 C. chopped cooked chicken breast
Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese (Optional but highly recommended)
Sour Cream (Optional)

In a large skillet, cook onion in oil until transparent. Add chilies, flour and cumin and stir for two minutes. Add beans and chicken broth, bring to a boil. Reduce and simmer for 10 minutes or until thickened. Add chicken, cook until hot. Garnish with cheese and sour cream if desired.

Serves 6.

Some of My Etsy Favorites

There are so many fantastic sellers on Etsy and one of my favorite things to do is wander through some of my favorites every once and awhile and "window shop." Of course, I love to buy things too when I have the money........

Here is my little treasury of Favorites.

ArtFire.com and ShopHandmade.com AND a Refresh on Everything Else

In an effort to get the word out there more and more about the shop, I have been promoting like crazy. I have been so pleased with sales and interest in the jewelry. I have put some items out on two other websites: Artfire.com and ShopHandmade.com. They are free to join, similar to Etsy and are set up similar to Etsy as well. I like spreading the wealth a little bit.

On another note, I have finally put some updated pics on my flickr account as well as refreshed the look of my Myspace page.

If you have time, take a look, drop me a comment, and after all of that work, I am off to relax!

Enjoy your Sunday night!

New Bracelet

I LOVE this bracelet I made today. The Opalite teardrops are fantastic and full of color and it puts me to mind of Art Deco. I think it is because of the little fan-shaped spacers. I may have to make another one for myself!
